Mesa Psychologist Leads Groundbreaking Study on Moral Injury and PTSD in Veterans

MESA AZ – Dr. Carl Forkner, Chair of the Chamber’s Mesa Veterans Program, was featured in the June 11th edition of Insider Weekly for his research on PTSD and Moral Injury in Veterans. Dr. Forkner was also honored in March during the International Health 2.0 Conference in Las Vegas, NV, where he was a panelist on a discussion of mental health issues for Veterans and First Responders.
Dr. Forkner is a retired Navy Commander with three decades of service. He is Past Commander and aa Veteran Service Officer with Disabled American Veterans (DAV) East Valley Chapter 8 in Mesa, as well as the Adjutant and CEO for the DAV Department of Arizona.
