Mesa Community College hosts EMS Career Fair
MESA, Arizona – April 23, 2026 – Mesa Community College (MCC) will host an Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Career Fair on Wednesday, May 6, from 12:30-5 p.m. in the Mesquite Building, Room 200 at its Red Mountain Campus, 7110 East McKellips Road, Mesa, AZ 85207. The event, which is free and open to the public, will bring together students, community partners and first responders for an afternoon of career exploration and networking. Attendees will have opportunities to learn about EMS career requirements, hiring processes and training expectations.
“This career fair provides the next generation of first responders with strong partnerships and real-world connections," says MCC Allied Health Department Chair Michael Pennington. “By bringing essential emergency response agencies directly to campus, students gain valuable insight into the profession, build relationships with potential employers and better understand the opportunities available to them in this essential field.”
The event was purposefully designed to connect MCC students with regional fire departments, public safety agencies, emergency response organizations and community partners while showcasing MCC's EMS programs.
The agencies that are scheduled to attend include: American Medical Response, Inc. (AMR), BannerAir, Gila River EMS, Gilbert Fire & Rescue Department, Maricopa Ambulance, Mesa Fire and Medical Department, Phoenix Fire Department, Queen Creek Fire and Medical Department, Salt River Fire Department, Scottsdale Fire Department, Superstition Fire and Medical District, Taylor-Snowflake Fire & Medical Department and the National Association of Hispanic Nurses (NAHN)
