[Mesa, AZ] The proud history, modern advancements and educational opportunities in aviation will be on display on Friday, November 21, at the East Valley’s annual Aviation Fascination event.

Hosted by the Mesa Chamber of Commerce and Heliponents, Inc., the event will be held from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at the Heliponents, Inc., 4930 E. Falcon Dr., located at Mesa’s Falcon Field Airport. The event is free to attend.

“Aviation Fascination is a popular event because people love to see these amazing aircraft,” said Sally Harrison, Mesa Chamber President. “Heliponents is a unique venue that allows people to leisurely stroll among the planes, enjoy good food tastings and a live band, learn about aviation, and share in the excitement of winning great prizes.”

Flight enthusiasts of all ages can get close-up views of the Boeing AH-64D Apache helicopter as well as other vintage aircraft. This year, Aviation Fascination will feature over 25 aircraft!

The Commemorative Air Force will be displaying their restored Harrier Jump Jet and F-16 Fighting Falcon that are housed at Falcon Field.

MD Helicopters will be showcasing one of their iconic, made in America Helicopters and the Mesa Police Department will be exhibiting their own helicopter, also by MD Helicopters. Displays by East Valley aviation education and flight training programs will offer information on the paths to a variety of aviation careers.

Food tastings will be offered by local restaurants. This year’s vendors include Knuckle Sandwiches, Renegade Coffee, Mad Greens, Papa Johns, Nando’s Mexican Cafe, and Nothing Bundt Cakes. Live music will also be provided by Guitarras Latinas.
