About AZ StRUT
https://azstrut.org
AZ StRUT is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that supports Arizona’s technical education and a community effort towards a more sustainable future. Arizona Students Recycling Used Technology, otherwise known as AZ StRUT, started in 1997 as concept by Intel and Motorola. They wanted to get used equipment to Arizona schools and non-profits that could benefit from them. AZ StRUT started partnering with schools and having some of their computer repair programs assist in the refurbishing efforts. In 1998 we officially became a 501(c)3 with the state of Arizona and we started providing A+ certification training to the teachers and these programs. We’ve also supported STEM programs with computer hardware and we continue to recycle all of the e-waste responsibly. Over 100,000 devices have been given to students and community members in need in the 25+ years since our creation.
About Recycling TV's
We accept almost all electronics, working or not, old or new.
TVs are the tough items. We accept LCD, LED, and plasma TVs, no charge.
We have to charge $1.00 per pound for CRT and rear projection TVs to offset our costs to recycle responsibly.
